Areas of Expertise
Special Clinical Interest
Mark is a highly skilled physiotherapist with years of clinical experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and clinical needs.
He has advanced post-graduate qualifications in musculoskeletal injection-therapy and a special interest in treating sporting shoulder and knee injuries.
He has successfully managed many complex sporting injuries and enjoys providing post-operative rehabilitation and evidence-based exercise rehabilitation.
Alongside his clinical work, Mark is co-author of two research papers published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, both presented at the IOC Injury Prevention Conference in Monaco, 2017. His research examined the reliability of measurements used to assess neuromuscular control and the potential increased risk of knee injury associated with joint instability and fatigue. This work further strengthens his evidence-based approach to lower limb rehabilitation.
Mark holds an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Essex and a BSc from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He is known for his compassionate communication, patient-centred care, and clear goal-oriented rehabilitation plans that empower individuals to take an active role in their recovery.
