Special Clinical Interest
Liz is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and the Lead Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at London Sports Physio, with a career spanning NHS and private practice across some of the UK’s most prestigious clinical settings.
Liz trained in Teesside before beginning her career at North Tees General Hospital, where she gained her foundational clinical experience. An adventurous spirit took her to Australia, where she continued her physiotherapy career before returning to the UK and settling in London. She has since built an exceptional breadth of experience, working across a diverse range of settings including Ford Dagenham and the Head Office of Marks & Spencer, as well as at The Princess Grace Hospital and 30 Devonshire Street, two of London’s leading private healthcare destinations treating complex musculoskeletal and post-surgical cases. Her career has also included the remarkable distinction of working as physiotherapist to the Saudi Royal Family.
Liz has worked extensively within the NHS, most recently at St. George’s Hospital, where she holds a specialist role in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with dedicated placements in Major Trauma and Pelvic Health, two of the most demanding and rewarding areas of the profession.
Liz treats the full range of musculoskeletal conditions seen at London Sports Physio, including back pain and sciatica, neck pain, shoulder conditions such as rotator cuff injuries and frozen shoulder, knee pain including osteoarthritis, foot and ankle pain. She brings the same depth of clinical expertise to every client, whether they are recovering from injury, managing a long-term condition, or rehabilitating after surgery.
As Lead of the Pelvic Health Service at London Sports Physio, Liz is one of our most specialist clinicians in this growing and vitally important field. She is an expert in both Men’s Health and Women’s Health, addressing a wide range of pelvic health conditions with the sensitivity, expertise and evidence-based care that this area of physiotherapy demands. She is passionate about reducing the stigma around pelvic health and ensuring that every client feels heard, supported and confident in their treatment.
As a key contributor to the Education Hub, our dedicated online resource for clients and the wider community, Liz regularly shares her expertise through articles and guides covering musculoskeletal conditions, pelvic health, rehabilitation and injury prevention. Whether you are managing a long-term condition or simply want to understand your body better, the Education Hub offers trusted, clinician-written guidance from the team that treats clients every day.
